I`m attending to shmoocon today tomorrow and Sunday! I`m happy and very thankful to Omur! Without her I could never make it

The first day was awesome, especially Dan Kaminsky`s presentation was georgeous! (as usual) Right now, I`m patiently waiting for Fyodor`s nmap presentation tomorrow! I`ll give more details about the event probably Sunday.

There is a draft on touristic space flight activities issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)… It talks about the security checks before and during the space flight since it might be popular one day to become a terrorism activity…

Imagine a terrorist on space flight holding a SCRAMJET going to a low orbit flight and slamming on earth like a meteor… That scares me more than the fact that a terrorist might put a conventional C4 to a crowded mall or theater… I mean what are the odds of a terrorist putting a bomb to a mall… Compared to space flight hijacking? I think terrorists are highly likely to hijack a space flight…

I wonder if we will be allowed to carry nail clippers or scissors since someone can cut the Oxygene tank pipes with them (or the foams)… Or will they check my flight suit that will possibly beep on the security check since it will have some metal tubes in it for heating and cooling on a space walk… How about gravity shoes? A baad baaad person might use the magnets in it to sabotage the avionics of the space carrier… Oh, they better arm the space marshall with a laser gun other than a ballistic gun, misfires might punch a hole in the space ship, we don`t want to lose our breathable air… Time to train some storm troopers! NOW!
