My ASS! I tried to reinstall Windows on my Sony VAIO SRX77. Now I`m on my glorious 5th hour! Patching and Service Packing and repatching, repatching and repatching… WTF?! And what about the usual Linux is not ready for Desktop, Linux is hard to install bullshit that people keep telling……. It`s a f*cking chewing gum that idiots keep repeating! I`m so frustrated… I simply wil never ever install the f*cking “other operating system” EVER again on any machine that I own! 
Ubuntu or Debian and sit back and enjoy your installation and automated patching……
PS: I restarted 12 times!
